French political leaders have expressed strong disapproval following reports that female employees were instructed to avoid contact with a Hindu delegation visiting the Eiffel Tower. The incident occurred last Saturday during a private tour organized by the Bochasanwasi Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha (BAPS), a religious group associated with India's ruling party. Ariel Weil, who oversees the management company for the monument, described the exclusion of women as unacceptable and confirmed that an internal investigation is underway. Staff representatives reported that female workers were ordered to step aside to remain out of sight of the visitors. This event has drawn significant criticism regarding the management of the landmark and the enforcement of workplace equality standards within public institutions.
