A passenger train operating between Kyiv and Warsaw was struck by a drone while traveling in Ukraine, approximately two kilometers from the Polish frontier. This incident occurred during a broader wave of Russian aerial assaults across the country. In a related event, a truck was also targeted in Ukrainian territory less than one kilometer from a border crossing point with Poland. Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha condemned the attacks, characterizing the strikes as a direct provocation against NATO and European Union member states. Authorities are currently monitoring the situation as further information becomes available regarding these border-area incidents.
