United States Ambassador to Poland, Thomas Rose, has officially launched the development of a new Polish-American Centre in Kraków. During the ceremony, the ambassador symbolically placed a cornerstone at the site, which is located near the historic Kościuszko Mound, a landmark dedicated to the 18th-century military leader who fought for independence in both nations. In addition to the project's inauguration, Rose announced a grant of $150,000 intended for the restoration and preservation of the area. The future facility is designed to serve as a central hub for various initiatives fostering cooperation and connections between Poland and the United States. This development highlights the ongoing diplomatic and cultural ties between the two countries, utilizing the site as a symbolic location for bilateral engagement.
