Dominic Calvert-Lewin has highlighted his goal-scoring form after netting his fifth goal in ten appearances for Leeds. The striker, who successfully utilized his physical presence to outmaneuver opponents during a set-piece situation, expressed confidence in his current role and appreciation for the support received at Elland Road. His performance has sparked discussions regarding his potential to serve as a primary backup for Harry Kane in the England national squad, provided he maintains his fitness. Historically, injury concerns have hindered his consistency, but his recent contributions suggest he remains a significant contender for the centre-forward position if he can avoid further health setbacks.
