Andrews argued that the current lack of consensus on potential trade restrictions and sanctions against Israel is undermining the bloc's credibility on the world stage. He cautioned that the EU faces the danger of appearing fragmented, inconsequential, and increasingly isolated if it fails to adopt a more coherent and unified policy. The Irish representative highlighted that the ongoing delay in implementing concrete measures is negatively impacting the Union's reputation among global partners.
