Public prosecutors in Poland have petitioned a local court in Wałbrzych to terminate legal proceedings against three South Asian nationals. The individuals were apprehended for performing an unauthorized slaughter of a goat behind a kebab establishment. Authorities argue that the defendants were unaware of Polish legal regulations regarding animal slaughter, noting that such activities are customary in their countries of origin. Furthermore, investigators emphasized that the animal was intended solely for personal consumption rather than commercial sale. Given these circumstances, the prosecution maintains that the incident caused minimal social harm and does not warrant further judicial resources. The court is expected to issue a final decision regarding the request in the near future.
