In her latest literary work, co-authored with Astra Taylor, activist Naomi Klein explores the growing influence of tech billionaires and the ultra-wealthy on global stability. The book, titled End Times Fascism, opens with a depiction of Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff at the World Economic Forum in Davos. Klein argues that immense financial resources can lead to a distorted worldview, which she describes as a form of supremacy. The authors examine how the super-rich leverage periods of environmental and economic instability to consolidate their own authority. By focusing on the intersection of private interests and public crises, Klein suggests that the current trajectory of elite power poses a significant threat to democratic structures and societal equity.
