Admiral Giuseppe Cavo Dragone, the highest-ranking NATO general, has stated that the alliance is fully prepared to address any potential Russian escalation along its eastern borders. Speaking at a meeting of military leaders in Copenhagen, Dragone emphasized that NATO's personnel, infrastructure, and weaponry are primed for action, with ongoing efforts to further enhance both the quantity and technological sophistication of these forces. This assessment comes as European officials express increasing concern regarding the possibility of Moscow orchestrating a false flag operation. Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk recently warned that Russia might utilize drones or missiles to provoke a NATO member state in the near future, a concern that has been shared by government representatives in France and the Netherlands. The alliance remains vigilant as it monitors the security situation across the continent.
